Hello! I'm Diana J. Brodie
AÂ professional video editor based in San Francisco. After graduating with a degree in Television-Radio from Ithaca College, I dove right into the world of film and video production. My career has taken me from San Francisco to Los Angeles and Seattle, where I've edited everything from corporate videos and national commercials to feature-length documentaries and popular TV shows!

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and have taught video editing with Avid, Premiere, and Final Cut Pro 7 at the Academy of Art University and San Francisco State’s Digital Video Intensive program. I’ve even extended my teaching to San Quentin Prison, helping to empower inmates with new skills.
With my extensive background, I founded Next Level Video Editing Academy. Here, I focus on teaching the essential tools of the trade and providing career coaching to help budding editors just starting out and seasoned pros who want to switch genres succeed in the competitive entertainment industry.
When I'm not cutting film or mentoring the next generation of editors, I'm likely juggling, playing poker, diving into obscure 20th-century entertainment trivia, or enjoying a good nap.
